Monarda fistulosa (wild bergamot)

General info: Monarda fistulosa is a North American native perennial that thrives in dry to medium moisture soils in full sun to partial shade. This clump-forming perennial is a part of the mint family and grows best in rocky dry soil. Monarda fistulosa has striking light lavender blooms and can reach heights up to 2 to 4 feet tall.

Landscape uses: Monarda fistulosa attracts lots of butterflies and hummingbirds and would be a great addition to any wildflower garden, meadow, or naturalized area. Wild bergamot could also be a striking perennial border.
