General Info: Carex cherokeensis, commonly called Cherokee sedge, is a North American native perennial that thrives in wet to medium moisture soils in full sun to part shade. This species is very adaptable and will grow in dryer locations with full sun. Cherokee sedge has attractive dark green foliage that is semi evergreen.
