General info: Monarda bradburiana, commonly called eastern beebalm, is a North American native perennial that thrives in dry to medium well drained soil in full sun to part shade. This species will tolerate drought and will self-seed. Eastern beebalm is a clump forming species that is typically found growing in dryish rocky woods. It will get up to two feet tall and is adorned with unique bright pink to purplish blooms. These striking blooms are solitary a top each stem and are very attractive to bees and butterflies.

Landscape uses: Monarda bradburiana is an exceptional native that could be used in many ways. Firstly, this versatile native species could be planted in mass to help naturalize an area. Giving the area a low growing attractive ground cover with a bright pop of color.
