General info: Amsonia tabernaemontana, commonly called eastern bluestar, is a North American native perennial that thrives in medium well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Eastern bluestar is typically found growing in thickets and woodlands. It preforms best in full sun but can be grown in some shade. This native wildflower has light blue star shaped blooms and its foliage will turn yellow in fall.
