Andropogon gerardii (Big Bluestem)

Andropogon gerardii is the dominant prairie species in the Midwest. This species is native to central and eastern US.

Landscape uses: Use this grass as a tall, upright clumping grass. Very drought tolerant once established. Wonderful green, reddish leaves.
