General info: Andropogon glomeratus, commonly called bushy bluestem, is a North American native perennial that thrives in wet to medium soil in full sun. This is a clump-forming ornamental grass that is grown for its attractive foliage and feathery seed heads. It can tolerate some shade and is intolerant of dry soil. Typically, it is found in coastal areas along swamps and other low spots with moist soils. This species can get up to four feet tall and has very attractive blue green foliage in summertime. In fall to early wintertime the foliage will turn an attractive golden copper color.

Making it a perfect option for a rain garden or other low spots that stay consistently moist.
