Carex vulpinoidea (foxtail sedge)

General info: This grass like plant grows in 2 feet clumps and can get up to 3 feet tall. It thrives in damp to very wet soil in full sun or partially shaded areas.

Landscape uses: Since this plant loves moist swampy areas it is wonderful for borders of pond, streams, and springs. Be cautious because this sedge will rapidly spread.
