General info: Eupatorium fistulosum commonly called Joe-Pye weed, is a North American native perennial that thrives in medium to wet soils in full sun to part shade. This species is typically found growing along roadways and wet forest. It can grow up to four to seven feet tall. It is adorned with striking clusters of pink blooms. These blooms emerge in the heat of summer and persist all the way into fall. This is a hardy low maintenance species as long as the soil stays saturated. Plant Joe-Pye weed anywhere you would like some height and color most of the year.
