General info: Iris virginica is a North American native that is best grown in boggy sandy soils in full sun. Native primarily to coastal plans this plant can be grown in up to 6 inches of water. Iris virginica typically grows about 2 feet tall.

Landscape uses: Iris virginica likes wet areas so it is ideal for areas with periodic flooding. Could also be excellent in the periphery of ponds or streams.
