Juncus effusus (soft rush)
General info: Juncus effusus, commonly called soft rush, is a North American native perennial that thrives in wet soils with full sun. Soft rush is typically found growing in ditches, swamps, and wet pastures. This wetland rush will grow in moist garden areas but preforms best in in standing water. This wetland perennial grows in clumps that reach 20-40″ tall.
