General info: Muhlenbergia capillaris ‘White Cloud’ is a North American native ornamental grass that thrives in sand, rocky, dry to medium moisture soils in direct sun. This species of Muhlenbergia is slightly larger and displays tiny delicate white blooms. These white blooms persist into winter. White Cloud can get about four feet tall and three feet wide clumps.

Firstly, this species would be a great option planted in masses as good groundcover for areas with poor sandy soils. White Cloud would also be good used in borders or native wildflower gardens.
