General info: Oenothera fruticosa, commonly called sun drops, is a North American native evening primrose that thrives is sandy dry soils with full sun. Sun drops are a day flowering member of the evening primrose family and grow about 15 to 30 inches tall. This low growing native perennial has beautiful bright yellow blooms. Which is where it gets its common name from.
