Pycnanthemum tenuifolium thrives in medium to dry soils in full sun to partial shade. This perennial is found in wild, open, rocky woods, and along roadsides. Pycnanthemum tenuifolium can get up to three feet tall. It’s called narrowleaf mountain mint because of its extremely narrow leaves. Unlike its name though it does not grow well in the mountains. Be cautious this perennial can be an aggressive spreader.
